Born in Venezuela and raised in a creative environment. As a child, he sketched, painted, took art classes and thought about becoming an architect. However, his career aspirations took a detour and he graduated from law school. He realized after practicing law that his creative side was being stifled, so he moved to the United States to start over. He graduated from the New York School of Interior Design and traveled extensively throughout Europe.
His trips to Paris awakened his passion for art and beauty. Rome and Tuscany brought a new admiration for architecture and made him even more aware of details. Madrid and Barcelona provided an appreciation for passion and culture as well as the authenticity of Art Deco, Art Nouveau and Beaux Art in buildings and interior design. While exploring Barcelona, he became an admirer of Gaudí's work. Trips to the Amalfi coast and the ruins of Pompeii changed his perspective of beauty, and he gained new inspiration.
Because of his background and collaboration with his clients to understand their life story, he creates an environment where his clients are surrounded by beauty, memories, and design.
After 17 years of practice in New York and New Jersey, MAG Design Studio has relocated to Miami-Dade County, Florida.
